Booking a charter aboard the yacht Scuderia
Terms of payment
A deposit of 50% of the full amount will be requested at the signature of the Contract.
The remaining 50% and the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance), as well as any required taxes, provisioning costs and any additional costs are required to be paid by bank transfer at least 1 month before the charter start date. (Except for day charters or last minute charters)
Operating costs
Supplies or APA generally represent 30% of the charter total price. They must be settled when paying the final invoice. APAs are intended to cover operating costs such as fuel, food, drinks and various port taxes.
APAs will be given to the captain before the beginning of the charter to pay for fuel and supply before your arrival.
The captain is responsible for the supply and must establish an accounting system that you can check at any time. The captain is required to submit the records of purchases at the end of the charter.
If you exceed the amount paid provisionally during the charter, the additional costs will be required immediately. All outstanding invoices must be paid in cash before final disembarkation.
Any credit in your favour will be refunded.
On request our Captain will take care of your transfer to or from the yacht. The expenses will be deducted from your APA.
All your desires must be taken into account
You will receive forms to complete with details of your preferences concerning food, drinks, itineraries, particular interests and any special dates to be celebrate during your holidays. These details will be forwarded to the yacht team before your arrival to ensure that the crew can organise the cruise program for you. This way the crew of the Scuderia will be able to provide the best possible experience.
Smoking on board
For security reasons, it is forbidden to smoke inside the yacht. However, you will be able to smoke on the deck in the open air.
Gratuities and tips for the Crew
It is at your discretion, however the guideline is approximately 10% of the charter fee, to be given to the Captain. They can be adjusted according to your satisfaction.
Insurance
We recommend that you take Cancellation Insurance if unforeseen circumstances prevent your charter.
Civil and Medical Liability Insurance
All members of your group have to be covered by liability insurance and medical insurance. Personal effects must also be insured against theft, loss or damage.
Leisure Amenities
The amenities available on board the Scuderia are very recent and of high quality.
Some activities such as Jet Ski require a specific license or may be limited to certain cruising areas. We can issue French licence on board after a basic training course, as our Captain is a Certified Instructor. The course costs 150€ per person.
To be able to scuba dive, at least one of the divers must be an instructor and other people in the group must have at least the open water PADI level.
It is possible to book the services of a diving instructor for the day.
